چکیده
Background: Overweight affects about 34.3% of Chinese adults, especially women childbearing age. The purpose this study was to investigate whether overweight affect the live birth rate frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles in mothers. Methods: This retrospective case-control conducted all patients undergoing FET from May 2016 October 2020 at a single center. A total 969 performed 632 were included analysis. Patients divided into four groups based on mother’s body mass index (BMI): Group 1: BMI <18.5 kg/m2; 2: 18.5 kg/m2 ≤ <24 3: 24 <28 4: ≥28 kg/m2. main outcome indicator per cycle. secondary endpoints rates biochemical clinical pregnancy, implantation, multiple pregnancy and miscarriage. Results: Ovarian reserve parameters similar among (p = 0.382 for anti-Müllerian hormone p 0.195 antral follicle count). Additionally, chemical implantation comparable groups. Frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles
In order to reduce the chance of multiple pregnancy during in-vitro fertilisation (IVF)– embryo transfer treatment, there is an increasing trend towards transferring a lower number of embryos. Surplus good-quality embryos are then transferred in frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. The first pregnancy after FET was reported in 1983.1 It has been estimated that in IVF programmes in which ...
متن کاملMethods for endometrial preparation in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles.
Frozen-thawed (FT) embryo transfer is a procedure used for the storage and transfer of excess embryos obtained during in vitro fertilization- intracytoplasmic sperm injection cycles. In recent years, improvements in laboratory conditions and limitations on the number of embryos to be transferred have led to a progressive increase in FT embryo transfer cycles. However, the best solution for endo...
متن کاملBlastocyst transfer in frozen-thawed cycles
OBJECTIVE It is well known that fresh blastocyst transfer results in better pregnancy outcomes with a smaller number of transferred embryos compared with cleavage stage embryo transfer. However, in terms of frozen-thawed blastocyst transfer, only a few studies are available. We aimed to evaluate clinical outcomes of frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) with blastocysts. METHODS Retrospective a...

OBJECTIVE To report a live birth after transfer of cryopreserved pronuclear embryos in cryostorage for almost 20 years. DESIGN Case report. SETTING Academic IVF center. PATIENT(S) A 42-year-old female patient with low ovarian reserve receiving donated embryos. These embryos were the result of an anonymous donation from an infertile couple who had conceived during her IVF treatment. INTE...
متن کاملLive births after polar body biopsy and frozen-thawed cleavage stage embryo transfer: case report
Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) or screening (PGS) technology, has emerged and developed in the past few years, benefiting couples as it allows the selection and transfer of healthy embryos during IVF treatments. These techniques can be performed in oocytes (polar-body biopsy) or embryos (blastomere or trophectoderm biopsy). In this case report, we describe the first two live births to...
